Beautiful, clean, comfortable cottage, bigger on the inside than it looks from outside. Peaceful setting, 15 minute walk to the beach, lovely woodland walks in the opposite direction & great location to explore other villages . Doggy wash outside to rinse off the sand & little hedged garden are really thoughtful. Cricket green next door is lovely tRead moreo let the dogs run when not on the beach. Fantastic facilities and the en suite in the main bedroom was a plus with a teenager. 10 minutes walk to the beach, pub, shop and local chippy.

We has a wonderful week's stay in the cottage in cold January. The cottage is warm and cosy but spacious: we particularly liked the huge kitchen. Communication from the owners was prompt, helpful and thoughtful. The cottage is on the edge of the village but the pub is only about 10 minutes walk away. There are great circular walks from the cottage Read moreand there are buses to Great Yarmouth and Norwich from the village. The seal colony is wonderful and we highly recommend Poppylands - great food! Hide

Peacefully located on the edge of the village of Winterton-on Sea, Samphire is a beautifully appointed cottage within easy reach of a beautiful and unspoilt beach. Wonderful to have a holistic treatment room across the Courtyard too.

We have just returned from a week at low farm, Samphire. What a lovely, clean, well equiped converted barn. Great location, just a short walk from the beach, great for the dogs. The Dunes cafe was great after a walk on the beach and we also rated the Fishermans Return which was dog friendly with great food. Also, I had a full body massage at LavendRead morear Room and a Journey facial which was amazing. Lovely welcome package on arrival. Just a shame it was only a week! Hide

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
