A stylishly renovated cottage nestled in the grounds of an impressive 18th century hall, perfect for visiting the attractions of both Norfolk and Suffolk in one stay.

The popular market town of Beccles is located close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border together with being the southerly entrance to the scenic waterways of the Broads National park, it is also the ideal base from which to explore both the coast and county of East Anglia. Nature lovers will enjoy day boat hire or guided tours on the River Waveney or for those keen on more active pursuits take on the Beccles Marsh Trail or one of many countryside walks. The location offers easy access to the popular coastal towns of Lowestoft, Southwold and Aldeburgh where quaint fishing villages offer traditional seaside entertainment. The Cathedral city of Norwich is slightly further field and offers theatres, shopping, culture and cuisine.

Originally a servant’s quarters and standing in the grounds of a beautiful stately home this delightful cottage has been renovated to provide stylish holiday accommodation. Initially entering the bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner guests will notice a contemporary colour scheme and stylish finish. The lounge area provides a relaxing space for guests to sink into the comfortable sofa and chair while watching the TV or planning the next day’s activities. The well-equipped kitchen comprises an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, and a breakfast bar and a dining table providing a place to enjoy any more formal or perhaps celebratory meal. The bedroom provides glorious views to wake up to over paddocks and countryside and the double bed ensures a peaceful night’s rest. Completing the accommodation is a stylish shower room with shower and WC.

For those who enjoy relaxing outside, the cottage enjoys its own private fully enclosed garden ideal for dogs also with views over paddocks with pretty planted beds and borders. A shingled area with garden furniture provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining with the charcoal BBQ provided. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Had a lovely relaxing week there, the cottage is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. Richard and sharron are so helpfull and friendly and always on hand to answer any questions, the secure garden is perfect for any size of dog and our lilttle "molly" loved it. Lovely touch of flowers, wine, chocy biscuits awaiting on arrival.the cottageRead more is also idealy sittuated for days out, most local attractions within a 40 min drive. A lovely cottage, very clean and furnished to a high standard. Good size TV. Beautiful bathroom with walk in shower. A nice welcome with milk, wine and flowers, also nice biscuit for the doggy guest. Private garden great for letting out the dog safely and good garden furniture. Very quiet location for a relaxing holiday.

We had a lovely long weekend stay in Nursery Cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. The welcome gifts were very thoughtful and even included a large dog biscuit for our spaniel! There were plenty of walks nearby and the cottage garden was escape proof even for our very inquisitivRead moree pet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nursery Cottage. The cottage was very nicely fitted out and the location is perfect as we have a dog and there are lovely walks literally on your doorstep. It is only a short walk into Beccles which is a lovely town. We would definitely like to return.

A superbly decorated and appointed cottage. Views over the paddocks in a peaceful location, but not far from the town. Lovely countryside walks for the dogs - or just humans if you don't have a dog! Secure garden to relax in. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A little piece of heaven.

Nursery Cottage is in a lovely quiet spot overlooking fields. The view from the bed is being missed already! It has a lovely private garden and the wow factor as you walk through the door into the lounge/kitchen. The care and attention to detail in the interior design was very much appreciated. Just returned from perfect stay, Nursery Cottage is the best cottage we have ever stayed in. Very stylish, amazingly clean and really well equipped., Enclosed garden was great to relax in. A lovely well furnished cottage in a fantastic quiet rural position with beautiful views across fields with horses roaming around. Very friendly owners who leave you in peace unless you need anything. A great place to explore Suffolk and Norfolk all within an hours drive.

Richard and Sharon were great hosts and Nursery Cottage was warm, comfortable, squeaky clean and well equipped. It was lovely to look out and see beautiful trees - and Sharon's horses. We enjoyed exploring the area and would like to return at some point.

This cottage is charming and beautifully styled with attention to detail. Beccles is a great location with all facilities and lots to see in the surrounding areas. The cottage is in a rural setting with a great outlook. You can easily walk to the town (15 mins) where there is good public transport. The owners are extremely helpful.

A great place for a get away, the cottage is just as good as it looks in the pictures. The owners are really helpful and friendly, giving information of places to visit and local dog walks. Our two golden retrievers really enjoyed being there and the garden is safe and dog friendly. The cottage is a short walk to Beccles town centre and the local dRead moreog friendly pubs. This cottage is in a quiet location tucked in the grounds of a big house. It is well appointed. The furnishings are modern, clean, and comfortable. Nothing was too much for our hosts - I forgot my hair dryer so they lent me so they lent me their one.

Stunning little cottage surrounded by fields and woods. Loved watching the horses in the neighbouring paddock and they even come up to the windows for a quick hello. The cottage is perfect for going out on local walks or setting out further afield for the day. Beautiful garden which our dogs adored as well as us being able to eat al fresco.

The Ideal little hide away to spend a peaceful holiday in Suffolk . There are walks that lead from the back of the property and a short walk also into Beccles . Richard and Sharon are also the friendliest owners we have met and keep the property and its surroundings in pristine condition.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts.
