This idyllic cottage is full of charm and is set in the heart of a delightful market town, making it an ideal holiday base for a couple looking to enjoy a romantic getaway in beautiful surroundings.

A traditional brick and flint terraced cottage, this charming property is an ideal place for a couple or a small family to enjoy a relaxed break. The open-plan lounge/diner on the ground floor is a fantastic space in which to simply enjoy spending time together and opens onto the secluded courtyard making it ideal for taking drinks outside during the warmer months of the year. The property’s two bedrooms are situated upstairs, whereas the shower room can be found downstairs on the ground floor as is common with this type of cottage.

This characterful cottage enjoys a fantastic location, less than half a mile from the centre of one of Norfolk’s best-loved towns: Holt. This attractive town boasts some beautiful Georgian architecture and is awash with unusual independent shops which will be loved by people who are looking for that special gift or souvenir. There is a good range of places to eat in the town too, in fact there is so much choice that it is entirely possible for guests staying at the cottage to eat out at a different place on each night of their stay.

Travelling north from Holt, it is only 4.5 miles to the North Norfolk coast with its pretty seaside villages such as Weybourne (5.5 miles), the vast sandy beaches at Holkham Bay (15 miles) and Wells-next-the-Sea (13 miles). The fun resort twon of Cromer with its pier is 10.5 miles. Staying inland, there are some truly beautiful stately homes including the handsome Holkham Hall (15 miles) and the 15th century mansion Felbrigg Hall (9 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The proximity to Budgens at the front seemed to be a minus but there's no noise at all and you would not know it was there. Car parking is in a large courtyard to the rear of the property and the cottage has no rear door: you walk out the courtyard and up another drive - about 100 yards. The cottage is well furnished, equipped and decorated with anRead more excellent shower room. (No upstairs toilet.) The cottage is more or less opposite Spout Hill good for morning dog walking. Hide

This was our third visit to this delightful cottage, it is cosy and well equipped, it felt like home from home. It is a good central base for exploring the north Norfolk area, we have always enjoyed our time there .

A well presented, well equipped, comfortable cottage in the centre of Holt. We spent 4 nights there and only used our car on two occasions as there is so much to do in Holt itself. The main reason for our trip was to unwind after a busy period and we did so at Partridge Cottage
