Tucked just beneath the Norfolk Coast AONB, spend time on this spectacular stretch of coast without straying far from home. Indulge in some crab from Cromer, walk the Norfolk Coast Path or brave the sea for a refreshing dip before heading back to this charming annexe for two for a cosy film night or an al fresco evening in your private garden. Perfect for romantic retreats, savour date night dinners at home or visit the quaint Georgian town of Holt (6.5 miles) for a bite to eat.

Fresh, tranquil tones create an inviting ambience in this pretty bolthole which is attached to the owner’s home. Perfect for romantic meals followed by relaxing evenings snuggled up in front of the TV/DVD, the lounge/diner is open plan and has a pair of snug chairs in which to curl up. The compact kitchen is sleek and stylish, and you’ll find all you need to rustle up three-course feasts and there’s a dishwasher to help with the clearing up. After dinner, take a drink outside and spend a moment basking in the fresh air. The enclosed, private garden has a pretty border and a bench where you can make yourself comfortable. Drift off for a peaceful sleep in the calming double room before rising and shining and starting the day with a shower in your en-suite.

Enjoy beach days galore from your fabulous location just 4.5 miles from the traditional, Victorian seaside village of Sheringham. Sheringham has a lovely beach, and the golden sands are revealed at low tide so time your trip to make the most of your day. We found the cottage clean and well equipped. The bed had both mattress and pillow protectors. It was very comfortable. The use of the private garden would be lovely in summer we were late season but still enjoyed the views and wildlife from the windows . The kitchen is small but well equipped and has a dishwasher. Loved it.

Our second holiday in this cottage. Fabulous, clean cottage, all equipment necessary, like being at home. Lovely gift of wine, bread, butter, milk, biscuits, tea and coffee in the kitchen too. A lovely gesture! Cosy and warm, and VERY quiet. Beautiful little garden too which is a bonus. Would return in an instant.

In the infomration we were sent a few days before the holiday, the owners informed us that "We will leave some tea and coffee for your use on arrival and some fresh milk." The coffee was very nice filter coffee and they also left very tasty bread, wine and biscuits. We enjoyed the accommodation and found Simon and Mary very friendly.

A lovely annex which has a delightful private garden with bench and table and chairs. In a nice really quiet village. It is ideally placed to visit lots of local places, stately homes, gardens and only 3 or 4 miles away from the coastal resorts. Ideal!

Beautifully clean, modern and comfortable cottage. Quite small but adequate for a couple and lots of nice touches and good use of the space available. Had to walk up the road for mobile phone signal so no good if that matters to you. Wifi works fine though

From the welcome on arrival to leaving the experience was extremely good. The cottage is ideal for "getting away from it all" and in a quiet location. Transport to Cromer is very easy and there are plenty of Supermarkets to buy the required food etc. Overall 1st class.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
