A converted former coach house, this property is set within the grounds of a 17th century manor house. The beamed ceilings and exposed brickwork lend the property a characterful feel and remind guests of its history and heritage. The ground floor is comfortable and light-filled, whilst upstairs there are two bedrooms, one of which benefits from a sanctuary-like bathroom with a sumptuous free-standing bath.

The small village of Sloley is located within easy reach of the coast as well as the Norfolk Broads, and is ideal for those who are looking for somewhere quiet and rural with plenty of opportunities for pleasant country walks. 1.5 miles north of the property, the neighbouring village of Worstead has a handy railway station, as well as a pub and chip shop: perfect for evenings when you don’t fancy cooking.

5 miles south of this well-situated cottage, the town of Wroxham is known as the gateway to the Norfolk Broads and is the perfect place to hire boats for the day. For active families, BeWILDerwood is a fun forest adventure park with an excellent range of adventure playgrounds. To the east, there is a choice of pretty village beaches located within 10 miles of the property, including those at Happisburgh and Eccles-on-Sea.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and in a great location for visiting the area. Good secure garden for the dog. Very nice and friendly owners and some provisions provided, tea, coffee, milk etc and a fabulous home made sponge cake.

Was greeted by owner , a lovely homemade sponge was waiting for us and flowers on the table these little touches are nice. Set in the countryside a quiet place especially for people who want to getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, lovely courtyard to sit in for the warmer months.

Lovely cottage, in peaceful surroundings...a home from home with everything you could possibly need... homemade cake on arrival was a thoughtful touch, and delicious...some great places to visit nearby. A superb location and a beautiful converted stable into a lovely cottage. There was room for the three of us and our dog and the walled garden was invaluable to allow the dog in and out of the house. Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location - and managed by lovely owners who live next door in the main house. A great base from which to explore both the Broads and the Norfolk coast. I wasnt a massive cake fan - but I am now! Beautiful homemade sponge cake left in the fridge for us. Really comfortable beds as well.
