We had an amazing stay at Lily Pad. Luckily we went just as we had a mini heatwave. We really enjoyed sitting out by the lake every day reading and watching the nature. As it is a fishing lake it is so peaceful and tranquil. Each cabin has its own private area including private little spots by the lake which are not overlooked at all. The Lily Pad has all the things you need for a relaxing break. The kitchen is well fitted out, the eating area looks out on the lakeside bank and the sleeping area is comfortable. The shower room is well proportioned. Access to the hot tub is private and the decking area is a suntrap. There is a good fishing swim just off the decking.

Lovely location next to attractive lake. Although there are other a few other properties around the lake, most of them were hidden from view behind the islands so felt quite secluded. The fishing only produced very small Carp (lots of them) but the weather had cooled substantially so in better conditions I think the larger fish would feed. Only dowRead morenside, although not a huge problem, was that we were within earshot of the race track at Snetterton but I think the North East wind exaggerated this. Hide

Excellent accommodation in a peaceful setting and with perfect weather. Everything that is needed for a holiday. Owners could not have been more helpful. Fishing excellent although failed to tempt any of the bigger fish. Despite coronavirus restrictions on pubs and other eating establishments, all coped well. would highly recommend.

All in all we had a great stay at 'The Lily Pad'. The setting is ideal for a peaceful time and for nature lovers it's ideal. We were lucky enough to see Kingfishers daily. The only negative was that even with tRead morehe use of a large mobile fan it was incredibly hot inside the property and almost impossible to sleep.
