This exquisitely renovated 14th Century, single storey barn is situated in an idyllic conservation area only a walk from the stunning North Norfolk sandy beaches and offers an ideal retreat for creating wonderful happy holiday memories.

Enjoy the true Norfolk character of this brick-and-flint converted barn. Dating back to the 1300s, this impressive building still features original beams and stonework, and yet also offers up to six guests, and two canine companions, a stylish and comfortable place to stay for a Norfolk break. Approximately 1 mile from an easily accessible beach, the three-bedroom, single-storey retreat is also just 3 miles from Mundesley, with its family-friendly facilities, and Cromer, with its shops, eateries and famous pier. Return from busy days out to enjoy the sunshine in the leafy garden or to relax beside a roaring wood burner.

Usher your friends or family into this gorgeous property, with its vaulted ceilings and well-designed living spaces. Head into the kitchen to prepare delicious dinners with the fresh seafood, samphire and locally grown Norfolk vegetables you have bought. Serve up in the impressive dining room, which is perfect for celebratory meals and jolly holiday get-togethers. Wander through to the lounge afterwards to stoke up the wood burner, pour yourself a drink at the bar and settle down in front of the Smart TV. At the end of each exhilarating day, run yourself a bubble bath in the bathroom, then head off to one of the two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite wet room, or the bunk bedroom which can accommodate adults. Step out into the garden whenever the sun shines to enjoy your coffee in the warmth or perhaps even light the BBQ.

Plan a day out to the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall, about 5 miles away, where you can visit the 17th-century house and stroll in the parkland grounds. Spend time at Blickling Hall too, 12 miles away, with its imposing Jacobean mansion and 4,600 acres of historic grounds. Or, take the children to Amazona Zoo, 4.5 miles away.

Well located clean and tidy barn with lovely internal features. We had a lovely break with our adult children and our 2 dogs. We found the cliff top walk and the walks through the quiet country lanes great for the dogs and straight from the barn. The barn is well equipped and comfortable and spacious. Lovely stay.
