Self-catering holiday accommodation in Wells-next-the-Sea
Wells-next-the-Sea is a port on the Norfolk Coast roughly halfway between Cromer and Hunstanton. The town has a beach which can be reached along the sea wall on foot or via a light gauge railway (the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway). The beach is quite charming with colourful beach huts, sand dunes and long, flat expanses. There is a lagoon used for pleasure boating and canoeing called Alfred’s Bosum close to the beach too. Holkham Nature Reserve sits at the fringes of the beach and is open to the public. The town itself is home to few eateries and handy shops. Also, visit The Buttlands, an open space with a ring of lime trees, a nice spot for a picnic.
